Hospitality Resume Template

Hospitality Resume Template · Built for hotels, restaurants and guest service

Built for Pakistani hospitality professionals. The page is presented as an editorial feature, headed The Hospitality Journal and subtitled a Portfolio of Distinguished Service, with a split hero banner carrying your photograph, your department and specialty, and your name set like a masthead.

The sections carry the register of the industry: Profile, Notable Establishments, Education, Specialties, Distinctions and Linguistic Grace. Georgia serif in burgundy and gold on cream. In a field where presentation is part of the service, a CV that looks considered is itself an argument.

Hospitality CV template Pakistan for hotel, restaurant and guest service roles by ResumifyAI

Who this template is for

This template is for anyone whose work is looking after guests. Pick this template if you are:

  • Front office staff: receptionist, front desk agent, guest relations officer, concierge or duty manager
  • Food and beverage service: waiter, captain, head waiter, restaurant supervisor or outlet manager
  • Kitchen staff: commis, chef de partie, sous chef or executive chef
  • Housekeeping: room attendant, supervisor or executive housekeeper
  • Banquet, events and catering staff, including conference and wedding operations
  • Applying to Pearl Continental, Serena, Marriott, Avari, Movenpick, Ramada, Nishat or an independent hotel or restaurant group in Pakistan
  • Applying to hotels, restaurant groups or catering companies in the Gulf, which recruit Pakistani hospitality staff in large numbers
If you are applying to a Gulf employer, this CV presents your service record well but does not carry the personal particulars and visa status their forms usually expect. Many candidates use this template where the employer asks for a CV and the Gulf Professional template where the application is processed through an agency.

Why this template works for hospitality applications

Department and specialty are named in the banner

Hospitality hiring is department first. A front office manager is not reading kitchen CVs. Your department and specialty sit beside your name in the hero banner, so your application reaches the right desk without anyone having to read your history to work out what you do.

Notable Establishments, because the property is the credential

In this industry the standard of the property you have worked carries real weight. A five star city hotel, a resort and a standalone restaurant are different environments with different service standards, and the section is named to invite you to say which.

Photograph in a designed frame

Guest facing roles routinely expect a photograph, and hospitality employers look at presentation because presentation is part of the work. The hero banner sets it in a proper frame with corner detailing, rather than leaving it pasted at the top of a page.

Distinctions, for the recognition that usually goes unrecorded

Employee of the month awards, guest commendations, service scores and competition placements are real evidence in hospitality and most CVs leave them out. This section exists so they are not lost.

Languages treated as a service skill

The Languages section is framed as Linguistic Grace, because in this field language is not an administrative detail: it is how you serve a guest. For Gulf and international properties it is frequently a scored criterion.

How to write a strong hospitality CV

Hospitality managers hire on standard, volume and temperament. Show the level you have worked at and the pressure you have held. Here is how.

Describe the property, not just the job title

Weak: "Worked as a waiter at a restaurant in Lahore"
Strong: "Restaurant Captain, all day dining outlet, 120 covers, five star city hotel in Lahore. Led a section of six service staff across breakfast and dinner service."

Use the numbers your department is measured by

Every hospitality department runs on figures. Front office has room counts and occupancy, food and beverage has covers and average spend, housekeeping has rooms per shift, kitchen has covers and food cost.

"Front Desk Agent, 180 room property. Handled 40 to 55 check-ins per shift at 85 percent average occupancy, including group arrivals of up to 60 rooms."

Name the systems you have operated

Property management and point of sale systems are a direct hiring filter. Write them by name, for example Opera, Micros, IDS or Fidelio, along with any booking channel or reservation platform you have worked.

Put your Specialties in service terms

Be concrete about what you can be rostered to do: fine dining service, buffet operations, banquet setups for a stated number of guests, barista work, bartending, room service, VIP and protocol handling, or a specific cuisine if you are kitchen staff.

Record your Distinctions, even the small ones

"Employee of the Month, March 2025 and September 2025. Named in 14 guest commendation reports over two years. Team placed second in the property's annual service skills competition, 2024."

List food safety and service training properly

Food safety and hygiene training carries weight in this industry, particularly for kitchen and food and beverage roles, and international properties check it. List HACCP or food handling certification, first aid, fire safety and any hotel school qualification with the provider and the year. Training from COTHM, PITHM or a hotel's own academy should be named in full.

Frequently asked questions

Should I include a photograph?

For hospitality, generally yes. Guest facing roles routinely expect one and the hero banner is built around it. Use a formal, well lit photograph in professional clothing. If you prefer not to, the banner shows a styled initials panel instead.

Is this template suitable for kitchen staff?

Yes. Notable Establishments suits a kitchen brigade record, and Specialties is where cuisines, stations and techniques belong. Chefs should also name covers per service and any food cost responsibility they have carried.

Is the editorial styling too decorative for a hotel HR department?

Hospitality is one of the few fields where a presented document is an asset rather than a distraction, because presentation is part of the service you are being hired for. If the application goes through an online portal that screens automatically, the ATS Friendly template is the safer submission.

How long should a hospitality CV be?

One page for entry and mid level roles, two for supervisors and managers with several properties behind them. What matters is the standard of the properties and the volume you handled, not the number of pages.

I am applying to a Gulf hotel. Is this enough?

It presents your service record well, but Gulf employers and agencies usually also want nationality, date of birth, marital status and visa status. Use the Gulf Professional template where the application form expects that personal block.

What if I have no hotel school qualification?

Many strong hospitality careers start on the floor. Lead with the properties you have worked and the volume you have handled, and list any in house training your employer provided. Experience at a recognised property counts for a great deal in this industry.

Does this work for airline catering and lounges?

Yes, those are hospitality roles and read well in this structure. If your work is airside operations rather than service, the Aviation Pro template is built for ground staff.
