Classic Resume Template
The standard Pakistani CV, done properly. A single column layout in Inter with teal section rules, carrying the Personal Information block that Pakistani employers expect: CNIC, date of birth, marital status and religion, set in a tidy grid rather than scattered through the page.
This is the template every ResumifyAI account can use for free. The free version carries a watermark; Basic removes it and unlocks the other sixteen designs. If you are not sure which template fits your situation, start here.
Who this template is for
This template suits almost any job application inside Pakistan. Pick this template if you are:
- Applying to private sector jobs in Pakistan across any industry: sales, administration, accounts, operations, retail, logistics, customer service or production
- Applying through Rozee.pk, a newspaper advertisement, a walk in interview or a referral
- Looking for a CV that works for several different applications without being rewritten each time
- Trying ResumifyAI for the first time and wanting to see the whole process before paying anything
- In a role that has no specialised template of its own, where a clean general format is the right answer
- Asked by an employer for a straightforward CV rather than a designed one
- Applying to a small or medium sized Pakistani company where the CV is read by a person, not a system
Why this template works for Pakistani applications
The Personal Information block is built in
CNIC, date of birth, marital status and religion sit in a labelled four field grid directly under the header. Pakistani employers routinely expect these details, and international templates leave them out entirely, which means candidates end up typing them into the summary or the footer where they look accidental.
One column, which is what most readers want
A single column reads top to bottom in the order you wrote it, prints predictably, and does not break when a recruiter opens it on a phone. Two column designs look impressive and cause problems; this template avoids both.
Every standard section, nothing invented
Professional Summary, Professional Experience, Education, Professional Skills, Certifications and Training, and Languages. These are the sections a Pakistani recruiter is looking for, in the order they expect to find them. There is no About Me, no timeline graphic and no skill rating bars.
Teal accents, black text, no distractions
Section titles carry a teal rule; everything else is dark grey on white in Inter. The design gets out of the way of the content, which matters when your CV is one of two hundred a recruiter opens that week.
Free means genuinely free
You can generate this CV on the free plan without paying. The free output carries a watermark, which is the only difference. The layout, the sections and the AI written content are the same ones the paid plans produce.

How to write a strong CV using this template
A general template puts more weight on your writing, because there is no specialised structure doing the work for you. Here is how to make each section earn its space.
Write a summary that names the job you want
A summary that could belong to anyone tells a recruiter nothing.
Put a number in every experience bullet you can
Numbers are what separate two candidates with the same job title. Team size, transaction volume, number of accounts, targets met, time saved.
Fill the Personal Information block completely
Write your CNIC in the standard format with dashes, and your date of birth in full. Leaving these blank on a Pakistani CV invites the recruiter to ask, which adds a step. Marital status and religion are optional in the private sector; include them if the advertisement or the employer's form asks.
Give qualifications their year, board or university, and result
List from the most recent downward, and include the division, marks or CGPA. An education entry without a result reads as if something is being left out.
Keep skills concrete
Name the software and the specific capability rather than listing qualities. "MS Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks" is useful. "Hardworking, team player, quick learner" is not, and it occupies the same space.
Use the same CV for similar jobs, not for all jobs
The Classic template is general, but your summary and job title line should still match the advertisement. Changing those two lines per application takes a minute and makes a noticeable difference to how relevant the CV feels.
Frequently asked questions
Is this template really free?
Yes. The free plan lets you generate one CV using the Classic template at no cost. The output carries a ResumifyAI watermark. Upgrading to Basic at PKR 1,499 one time removes the watermark and unlocks all seventeen templates.
Do I have to put my CNIC on my CV?
For government applications, yes. For private sector jobs it is common in Pakistan and generally expected, though not always required. The field is part of the Personal Information grid, and you can leave it empty if you would rather not include it.
Should I include a photograph?
The Classic template does not have a photo slot. Most Pakistani private sector employers do not require one on the CV itself. If a photograph is specifically requested, use the Gulf Professional or Government template, both of which have a proper photo placement.
How long should the CV be?
One page for under five years of experience, two pages beyond that. Beyond two pages you are usually repeating yourself, unless you are in academia or government where a full record is expected.
Will this template pass automated screening?
It is single column with ordinary text headings, which parsers handle well. If you are applying mainly through large job portals and want the most conservative possible structure, the ATS Friendly template strips the design back to plain black on white.
Can I use this for jobs in the Gulf?
You can, but you will be at a disadvantage. Gulf employers expect a photograph, nationality and visa status, and this template has none of the three. The Gulf Professional template is built for that market.
What is the difference between Classic and Modern?
The Modern template drops the Personal Information block and adds LinkedIn, GitHub and portfolio links in the header, in a purple gradient design. It suits technology, design and startup applications. Classic suits everything else in Pakistan.
