1. Right to Request Deletion
   You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data (including name, email, CV content, and metadata) at any time.
   
   

2. How to Request Deletion
   Send an email to support@resumifyai.com with:

   • Subject: “Delete My Account”
   • Your registered email address
   • Full name (as used in your profile)
    

3. Processing Time
   We will permanently delete your account and data within 7 business days of verification.
   
   

4. What Gets Deleted?

   • Your user profile
   • All saved/resumed drafts
   • Generated CVs and cover letters (from our servers)
   • Login & session records
    

   Note: Emails sent to you (e.g., PDF delivery) may remain in transactional logs for up to 30 days for security, but will not be used for marketing.
   
   

5. Exceptions
   We may retain limited data if required by law (e.g., financial records for tax compliance), but only for the minimum necessary period.
   
   

6. No Automatic Deletion
   Accounts are not automatically deleted due to inactivity. You must submit a deletion request.
