Data Deletion Policy

We respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data.

  1. Right to Request Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data (including name, email, CV content, and metadata) at any time.

  1. How to Request Deletion

Send an email to support@resumifyai.io with:

  • Subject line: “Delete My Account”
  • Your registered email address
  • Full name (as used in your profile)
  1. Processing Time

We will permanently delete your account and data within 7 business days of verification.

  1. What Gets Deleted
  • Your user profile and account
  • All saved resume drafts
  • Generated CVs and cover letters (from our servers)
  • Login and session records

Note: Transactional emails previously sent to you (e.g., PDF delivery) may remain in logs for up to 30 days for security purposes, but will not be used for marketing.

  1. Exceptions

We may retain limited data if required by law (e.g., financial records for tax compliance), but only for the minimum necessary period.

  1. No Automatic Deletion

Accounts are not automatically deleted due to inactivity. You must submit a deletion request as described above.
